Burgerkill

This is a short story of 12-year musical career of a super loud band that has become a phenomenon in the population of loud music, especially in Indonesia. Noxa was formed in March 2002 by Robin (drums) and Ade (Guitar). we decided to play Straight Old school grindcore with socio-political themes, the story of love & hate, humanity, etc.. First we had lagu2 cover of the band Nasum (Swe) songs from the album, Inhale, exhale, and of course some old songs from Napalm Death (UK).
The four of us graduated from Sahid University in Jakarta, Indonesia. from the same university. We've known each other since almost 10 years and we've been jamming & session in a few local gigs. Around 1998, Robin & Ade decided to make a band, then we hired Tony (vox) and Dipa (Bass) to join the band that later was named Noxa.
NOXA it means "something that can kill and substances harmful to the health of the body, and will threaten your life if you consume excess" after all the band members agreed to use it, then we use the name of NOXA until now.
After playing in several local gigs we write our own songs and decided to record our debut album. November 2002, we entered a recording studio for DE drums in guitar, drums and vocals recorded at the Hammer studio. Recorded 18 tracks with a duration of rata2 1 minute or more per song. This is because we are really happy to do it. On August 22, 2003, we released an album under the NOXA RECORDS with the label "Noxa". We made this album with our own money, all members of the band ventures. We are very proud and happy when the album is finished.
We then also began to play at gigs International Metal Fest in Singapore & Malaysia in 2003. Then we also have a 5 videoclips from our first album, namely:

At that time we were assisted by the Copyright Gunawan Moehammad (Sound Engineer) and Jorghi Soebagio (Sound Engineer), who also helped us in this recording the 2nd album. Then, for mixing the 2nd album we were in Stonedeaf Studio, New York City - USA. Gunawan with our best friend who helped us to make this album. This album contains 31 tracks, total duration of about 46 minutes. Cool design by Tony TANDUN of T's Toy company. The album is called "Grind Viruses" and Robin are making title of the album.
In May 2006, NOXA should offer to play at the Fuck The Commerce X Metal Festival 2006 in Luckau in Germany. But very sad that we can not play there because we did not manage to get a visa.
October 1, 2006, we released our second album entitled "Grind Viruses" under NOXA RECORDS. Only 1,000! We tried to mix our music with the D-beat style, with the expectation that the D-beat style could be a virus in the world music grindcore and metal.
June 28, 2008, NOXA play at gigs Tuska OPEN AIR METAL FESTIVAL, HELSINKI, FINLAND. Events 27 to 29 June 2008. Deadsquad yang berdiri sejak bulan Februari 2006 merupakan band project dari Stevi Item Ex Step Forward (Gitar), Ricky Seringai & Step Forward (Gitar) , Boni Ex - Tengkorak (Bass) dan Andyan Ex - Siksa Kubur (Drum). Mereka memainkan lagu2 dari band oldschool metal seperti Slayer, Anthrax, Pantera dan Sepultura.

Sayang, karena kesibukannya di Seringai, Step Forward dan pekerjaannya di sebuah majalah, Ricky terpaksa mengundurkan diri. Posisinya kemudian diisi oleh Prisa Ex – Zala, sementara di posisi vokalis masuklah Alexander (Babal). Karena sibuk dengan album solonya, bulan Juli 2008 Prisa juga mengundurkan diri.

Setelah beberapa bulan berjalan dengan konsep 1 gitar, akhirnya pada bulan Oktober 2008 Deadsquad menemukan sosok seorang gitaris yaitu Coki Bollemeyer yang notabene merupakan gitaris NETRAL. Pada bulan yang sama Daniel (Abolish Conception) juga bergabung menggantikan Babal di posisi vokalis.

Dengan armada Daniel (Vocal), Stevi (Gita ), Coki (Gitar), Boni (Bass) dan Andyan (Drum), Deadsquad akhirnya merampungkan album perdananya, Horror Vision. Album ini dirilis pada tanggal 9 Maret 2009, bertepatan dengan konser Lamb Of God di Jakarta dimana DEADSQUAD tampil sebagai band pembuka.

Konsep musik Deadsquad dengan line terbaru ini lebih kearah Technical Death Metal dengan influence band seperti : Spawn Of  Possession, Necrophagist, Suffocation, Decrepit Birth, Visceral Bleeding, Disavowed  Nile. (dapurletter).
