The four of us graduated from Sahid University in Jakarta, Indonesia. from the same university. We've known each other since almost 10 years and we've been jamming & session in a few local gigs. Around 1998, Robin & Ade decided to make a band, then we hired Tony (vox) and Dipa (Bass) to join the band that later was named Noxa.
NOXA it means "something that can kill and substances harmful to the health of the body, and will threaten your life if you consume excess" after all the band members agreed to use it, then we use the name of NOXA until now.
After playing in several local gigs we write our own songs and decided to record our debut album. November 2002, we entered a recording studio for DE drums in guitar, drums and vocals recorded at the Hammer studio. Recorded 18 tracks with a duration of rata2 1 minute or more per song. This is because we are really happy to do it. On August 22, 2003, we released an album under the NOXA RECORDS with the label "Noxa". We made this album with our own money, all members of the band ventures. We are very proud and happy when the album is finished.
We then also began to play at gigs International Metal Fest in Singapore & Malaysia in 2003. Then we also have a 5 videoclips from our first album, namely:

In early 2004, we decided to make some new material in the studio jamming, Finally we recorded our second album, recording at Studio DE drums then guitar, bass, vocals recorded at Studio Collisseum in Jakarta. At that time we were assisted by the Copyright Gunawan Moehammad (Sound Engineer) and Jorghi Soebagio (Sound Engineer), who also helped us in this recording the 2nd album. Then, for mixing the 2nd album we were in Stonedeaf Studio, New York City - USA. Gunawan with our best friend who helped us to make this album. This album contains 31 tracks, total duration of about 46 minutes. Cool design by Tony TANDUN of T's Toy company. The album is called "Grind Viruses" and Robin are making title of the album.
In May 2006, NOXA should offer to play at the Fuck The Commerce X Metal Festival 2006 in Luckau in Germany. But very sad that we can not play there because we did not manage to get a visa.
October 1, 2006, we released our second album entitled "Grind Viruses" under NOXA RECORDS. Only 1,000! We tried to mix our music with the D-beat style, with the expectation that the D-beat style could be a virus in the world music grindcore and metal.
June 28, 2008, NOXA play at gigs Tuska OPEN AIR METAL FESTIVAL, HELSINKI, FINLAND. Events 27 to 29 June 2008. Line Up at Tuska at time Slayer, Carcass, Morbid Angel, Kreator, Dimmu Borgir, etc www.tuska-festival.fi, after Tuska, NOXA also tour in 2 cities on July 2, 2008 in Helsinki, Finland Nightlife Club and July 3, 2008 Hella Club in Helsinki Finland At that time we tour with the band "Lie In Ruins", "Dauntless" and "Sightless" (finnish band from stay Heavy Record Label)
Then NOXA album "Grind Viruses" is now released by Stay Heavy Records Finland.
